I went last Wednesday for our first ultrasound. There was one sac, but it was too soon to see anything.
Went this morning and we saw an embryo with a heartbeat. But when the nurse took the wand out there was blood. I'm still bleeding and cramping, and passed a clot earlier.
I am going to go back this afternoon to see the doctor (he's only at this location in the afternoons so I usually just see the nurse).
I'm scared. I don't know how much more I can take to be honest.
Keeping my fingers crossed and praying that everything is ok. All I can do is hope.

Hoping and praying with you.
The EXACT same thing happened to me. The maternal-fetal specialist assured me that there was no way that we could have just seen the h/b moments earlier, and blood could travel that quickly. It was a hematoma, just coincedental to happen when you have an u/s.
I know firsthand how frightening it is, and how it can seem like so much blood. On an u/s they can measure the hematoma and monior it shrinking or being reabsorbed. ASK FOR THis! I had FIVE early u/s before week twelve with Peanut. She is now 3 months old ;o)
Seeing the heartbeat is good news! I really hope that everything is ok. Grow baby grow! ((hugs)) Praying for you!

Lord,
Please be with this Mommy. Give her peace and protect the life she is creating. Give her the knowledge that no matter what your answer is... YOU are still in control and are still GOOD! Let this Mommy feel the warmth of your arms around her as she waits. We love you God and thank you for the life you have created in her.
Amen!
