14dp5dt

Well that was actually yesterday, but I didn't have time to post yesterday.

I went to the RE for my BW, you know my first beta.....

So the results are....

hCG = 270

I am offically pregnant, according to my RE 5 weeks today.  Will go back tomorrow and twice next week to be sure the hCG is rising appropriately, then the next week will have my first ultrasound.  I will be more hopeful once we see a heartbeat, but I know that I will be anxious the entire time until I have a RLB in my arms.  And it's still so early that anything can happen, but I am trying not to think about that.  Also, I compares my level at 14dp5dt to this date last time and it's about 1/2 of what it was last time, so I am thinking there is just one this time.  Which would be a good thing I think, because with the IC I was afraid if they both implanted I would be on bedrest the entire pregnancy.  I am hoping to make it as far as I can without having to go on bedrest, of course I am preparing my husband for the possibility and he's freaking out LOL, mostly about money, but that's just the way it is.

And can I just say what's up with this weather?  I live in Houston not somewhere up North, it's really NOT supposed to be this cold down here.  Seriously I'm freezing and that's really unusual for me.

Hope everyone is having a great 1st week of the New Year, so far mine's been pretty good.

Wow, that's great news! This is the first step. I know how hard it is to get excited, though, knowing that getting pregnant is not the only challenge. Hang in there, and I'll be thinking about you and wishing for the best.

First- CONGRATS!! Awesome news! I'll be looking forward to the updates!

Second- I hear you on the weather! I'm only about an hour from Houston and it's below freezing and that's just not normal for Texas haha! We got a big "arctic" front.

YAY!! I am so very happy for you!!

Yes, this weather is crap. If I wanted to live in 11 degree weather, I would move to Minnesota. Oklahoma isn't supposed to be this cold!
