So I went and saw New Moon today with a co-worker. I have to say it was really good, of course just like with any book made into a movie, there was a LOT they changed and left out. But none the less I loved it.
It made me feel a little skeezy with how hot I thought Taylor Lautner was in it considering he was only 16 when it filmed and is only 17 now. I am totally Team Edward but I also liked Jake as well and seeing Taylors performance in the movie made me like him even more.
It was nice to have a good time and not think about Cadynce the whole time, but I felt a bit guilty as well. I guess that's to be expected. I am dreading Thanksgiving a bit, since I will be seeing my neice and nephews and I think that Cady looked just like Grace, but I love them too much to not spend time with them.
The 3 day work week helps a little too I have to admit :-)
I hope everyone had a great weekend because mine was pretty good.

After all the hype about New Moon, I am considering putting off seeing it until I have read the books. And I haven't. I think I'm afraid to because I've been such a fan of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles for so long that it feels like betrayal...LOL. Don't feel bad about enjoying some time without thinking of Cadynce, she would never want that for you. It's healthy and good to have some enjoyment in your life after suffering such terrible pain. Sending you hugs Ali...
You should definately read the books before seeing the movies. Of course with all books turned into movies they leave a lot of stuff out. The movies are really good though even after that. I know what you mean it was weird to read about vampires that went against the lore of most books, but they are good (I'm a little obsessed LOL I admit it, I'm a 12 year old girl) I think why I like them so much though is the love story more than the vampire stuff - although I am a fan of that kind of stuff.
I think Taylor is hot too! I agree with Margaret, I am going to read the book first.
